Just wanted to give you guys the heads up regarding the next course annoucement. In the past some HTF guys have missed course annoucements so this time I thought I would put out a pre-annoucement to give plenty of lead time to sign up for the course. The DFR course is not for beginners. If you have had rifle training with me on previous occasions, you are qualified for this course. Previous LE, MIL, or other training schools is a pre-requisite for this course. You don't have to be a Super Mall Ninja to qualify for this course, but this should not be your first rifle course. If you have any doubts or concerns about your skill level, please don't hesitate to contact me and we can talk about it. I'm not looking to exclude people, but for this course to be effective for everyone interested, there needs to be a certain level of proficiency. I need prospective students who are skilled with maintaining the four primary safety rules in dynamic, 360 degree stressful environments. This course will emphasize the dynamic nature of violent confrontations and will include a signifcant amount of movement and will at times be quite demanding. I will post all the details of the course and open up the course enrollment at 2000 hrs. tomorrow night. No enrollment will be permitted prior to 2000 hrs, so please pass the word. You are permitted to sign up others in one posting, but you will be responsible for their conduct. If you bring them to the course and they are not able to conduct the training in a safe manner and are asked to leave the course, as the responsible party for bringing them to the training, you will be asked to accompany them also. There will be NO REFUNDS for unsafe weapons handling at this course. I'm sorry to be so Draconian with this course, but the training methods and dynamic nature of this course demand all be held to a higher safety tolerance.
