What do I check for Trust?

Individual
or
Corp or other Business Entity

Search didn't find nothing.

Funny, I have always used "Individual" on Form 1s for Trusts and have seen dozens for Form 1s approved that way.  Honestly, I don't think it matters.

I'm just going off both of my Form 4's that you did for me Mark. Both are marked as Corp or Business Entity.

Guess again.

Exactly WHERE on those forms do you see a box that is checked for Individual or Corp?  A Form 1 is different.  The Form 1 DOES have a box you should check.

Please tell me if I am missing something here.  Maybe I am slow.  But I am thinking you are mistaken or confused.  I know the NFA process can certainly be confusing at first.  Things change all the time.  In the past I have been instructed by ATF to mark Form 1s to Trusts as "Individual".  Again, things (like ATF opinions and processes) change.

You're right.

I was thinking about the Citizenship form.

I'm just getting started on all of this stuff.

You're right Mark.

Box 2 has a check for 'Corporation or other Business Entity' and that is how all my form 1s have been marked.

I need to submit another one...I have a friend pestering me to figure out how to make a modern cartridged Lemat.  This would be a truly awesome 'from scratch' build IMHO.

My Form 1 that got approved in August 2010 has my trust as a corporation/business entity. So there you have it.

Like I said, I don't really think for a Trust it matters.  I've seen them approved both ways.
