That beats my previous best time by 6 minutes! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Outstanding! That's an amazing time. No...it's not. But it isn't bad for a 43 year old with a heart condition and diabetes. If I counted right i was 12th in the 40-45 age group, for all I know there were 12 of us. Still, losing 6 minutes gives me hope I might break the 60 minute mark...maybe. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile My mistake, I just now noticed 1:06 in your first post. I thought "40 on the dot" was your time for six miles, making it approx. 6 1/2 minute miles, which WOULD be an amazing time when stretched out for a 10K. But, you're right. |

It is a scheduled run.
Every year first Saturday in October. Which usually means I can run the mountain and then go shoot RBGC 3-gun onthe same day. But not this year. Go to the toccoa-stephens county website for details or google Currahee challenge. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

There's actually a lot going on that day in Toccoa.
They have the races, a 3 mile and the full 6 mile. Then they have reenactments and what-not somewhere nearby. I have never gone to the other stuff. Normally I shoot the 3-gun and this year Jess had a birthday party to got to. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
