Not a felony to own one. It might be to carry one on your person, not sure what the new changes to the conceal and carry laws are, was thinking that permit holders will now be able to carry knives, automatic or otherwise. Hopefully one of our resident lawyers will clear that up for us.

From what I understand it doesn't forbid carry of auto knives so by default they are ok. Wait for DKING to chime in, I'm not a lawyer nor did I sleep in a Holiday Inn lastnight.

It's unclear to me.  The only place In the the as-signed SB-308 I can find a specific reference to "switchblade" is in section 1-4 which defines weapon for the purpose of stipulating carry in or on school property.  It's a misdemeanor if you have a GWL, a felony if you don't.  Barring no other mention, it seems that if you're not at a school you should be GTG.  I, also, am not a lawyer thought.  There may be a mention in some other code section.  FWIW I carry an H&K model 14750 auto.  It's made by Benchmade.

I'm waiting for sb 308 to be codified as a OCGA before I make any comments. Prosecutors are still accusing people of carrying in ana establishment that serrves alcohol and that laws been history for over 2 years!
