| Yes, I'm asking about clothes in the HTF. I need a pair quality shorts with lots of pockets and big belt loops(my wilderness tac belt won't fit through the belt loops on most of my shorts). I like the 5.11 tactical shorts but I don't really want to pay shipping online. Does anyone know of a shop that sells them or something similar in quality? |

What kind of fabric do you want? What is the purpose of these shorts? I wear Columbia cargo shorts almost everyday. They are comfortable, durable and setup just about perfectly for what I want. They are typically cotton shorts though so I don't like them as much as some nylon types for hiking. Columbia has some nylon types I use for that or if I am doing something where I'll be getting wet (Tallulah Gorge, paddling, etc.). The Columbia shorts I like the most have a standard cargo pocket on the right leg, a zippered pocket on the left and in front of the left pocket are two small open top pockets. I clip a SureFire LX2 in one of those open top pockets and a Benchmade pen in the other. Cargo pocket on the left and back pockets are velcro closures but work well. I wear a Wilderness belt every day without exception. I also have some REI brand shorts and convertible pants that I like a lot. The convertibles are perfect for those transistion times during the year where it is cooler in the mornings and evenings. We're past that for the summer but I was wearing convertibles as recently as three weeks ago. Hope this helps. I can post more specific info if you want. Some Kohl's stores, Belk and Sports Authority carry the Columbia products I like. Mark |

far superior quality is Duluth Tactical, I mean Duluth Trading Co. Their products include both light weight and heavy "fire house" cottons and all their pants have crotch gussets (BallRoom jeans) which keep your from killing you balls when climbing a rock wall, or picking up a room scattered with legos. Only pants I own, wish they made suits... They are NOT cheap, but I have some pairs I've worn for 10 years and they haven't frayed or faded. I'd put them on par with Nordstrom's khakis. http://www.duluthtrading.com/ Remember that pants I put the 500 in the pocket of? Duluth Trading. Hope that help, oh and take this shit to GD, what does this have to do with the HTF, and whatever else I'm supposed to say. They even have shorts on sale now! http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/clothes-workwear/mens/shorts-for-men/shorts-for-men.aspx |

Lapolicegear does not have inventory linked to their website. I've had orders I was forced to cancel after waiting 7 months on backorder. If its exactly what I want, is really cheap, and it does not matter when I get it I order from them. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

The only reason I am wearing my Duluth fire hose pants right now...
is because my Duluth coolmax pants are in the laundry. But these Fire Hose pants are impervious. I was wearing them when I held my firstborn in the hospital a few months ago, and since then they've proven resistant to every type of bodily fluid you can imagine.
