I was told it started when Adam started a thread over at LaRue, where he wanted Mark to make him some convoluted special rear iron sight.
People started dog piling him, and it kind of turned ugly. Occasional pissing contests followed. Also was told that it was hard to respect the "Does this helmet with horns make me look retarded?" avatar. I feel bad for the guy, this place seemed to be one of his few joys in life. |

I know there is a good bit of love for LaRue, but some of the nut hugging is a bit much. Same goes for some of the Magpul followers. |

Im gonna miss the guy. You had to laugh at his level of assholeness, in a good way. He made no bones about it. I respect that.
At the same time, Im pretty sure he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Good guy just enjoyed being a pain in the ass. |
I enjoyed reading his posts. Never a dull moment when he was on, especially on the other forum.

Because heaven knows there hasn't been record unemployment for the last few years and that there aren't a number of other people on this very forum who are without jobs right now.
I'm sorry I know I should keep my mouth shut, and if you were talking shit about stupid threads adam started or commenting on something he said, I would. Honestly, I know that he is doing the best he can to find something that works for both of us and that is all that matters. I am thankful every day that I have a very good job and that his unemployment isn't a financial hardship for us. Also as an FYI he hasn't taken any unemployment so don't feel like you are working to support us. -Jessica |

Well, I think he got what was coming. I told him in an IM that the intraweb is no place to call someone out. If he had a problem with ML, I asked him to send him a certified letter. He is a site sponsor, he does do a lot for troops. It is a losing battle he got himself into. I did not know the guy. I do know people he has pissed off. There was a right way and a wrong way to go about things. Trying to call someone out from a keyboard is just retarded. I asked him to take the high road and he evidently could not resist going back to the LaRue forum. I guess if you piss off enough people, you get what is coming to you.
I also read from the USGUNANDGAME site. Remember, there are 2 sides to every story, 2 sides to every lie. Put it this way, if you were asked to leave somewhere because of your mouth, would you continually go back to the same establishment, only to be asked to get lost over and over? He trolled hard over there. Why would they not give him the ban hammer? Just my 2¢. I could really give a flying flip. |

Will have to check when I get home from the lake. yes and no. the IP's own their respective forums here and staff generally stay out of them. the COC however DOES apply there and routine disruptions of those forums will be cuase for action. We try to stay out of them unless the IP asks for action. In out's case he was a constant distraction in gth larue forum and after multiple warnings from multiple staff members he was simply incapable of controlling himself. |

Your premiums were paid in while you were working, so it's not like you're sucking the .gov tit. Times really are tough for some these days. If you need the funds, and you qualify for it, go for it. Adam is good people.
Some folks in the HTF got too caught up in his employment issues and made more than it should be out of it. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" "people in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks" ect. None of us are without issues. So STFU about other peoples issues and chill with the rest of us. There may come a day when you are out of work or divorced or whatever. Then you may see how folks expect you to live in a cave and say "thank you sir may I eat your shit and wallow in your pee" for using resources available to you such as unemployment or welfare. There is a difference between abuse and honestly using the system as designed. I'll miss Adam on here. That he pissed off a cliche of people was just icing on the cake. |
