I got a lpk and nothing fits. The mag button won't recess in the reciever to tighten the mag lever, the roll pins just don't seem to fit, and I'm down right frustrated.

Bigger Hammer?

Just asking.

I'm assuming the GHTF lower & a RRA LPK?  If so I'll be in the same boat when I get all my parts together.

I will be home tonight if you want to bring it over. I have done a couple. Last one was done at the range while shooting.

I used a Del-Ton kit with my GA-15 lower and all the roll pins were oversized.  I had to compress all of them with vise grips before they would even begin to fit in the lower.

Bring it to me.

What I sold you yesterday was a Del-Ton Kit.

Occasionally I'll have to put the roll pins in a pair of channel locks to compress them so they'll fit.

See I wasn't gonna say you sold it to me... But OK I'll bring it up there if you think you can make it work.

Derek wants to take a wack at Doug's lower receiver with a hammer...........

.....in order to squeeze the oversized pin of the lower parts into the hole he possess prior to purchase......

Doug is skeptical to try but Derek, due to extensive past experience....is confident that he can make it work.

We have had similar issues with DPMS LPS's in the past but STAG has been trouble free to date.

I'm sure I just jinxed the remaining STAG LPK's we have in stock!!!!!

I was doing a lower today too but I was using a no name kit.  I put a really good idiot mark on a Mega when the bolt catch pin broke as I was putting it in.  That thing was a bastard to get back out.  I'm not worried about it cosmetically as I plan on, you know, using it.  I'm just annoyed because I idiot marked my GA-15 (not bad like this one) and I wanted my second lpk to be idiot markless.  Oh, and I have to orider a bolt catch pin

EVERYONE PUT THE HAMMERS DOWN. STEP AWAY FROM THE LOWER.

Hippie, even though your people are unwashed and smell of patchouli I am willing to lend assistance.

Bring it to me. I'll fix it.

the split/c pins suck, any chance of getting a Stag/CMT or rock river LPK? they have the spiral pins that install very easily, the DPMS kits are known to be buggers. i hate your having trouble

rofl.  Thanks man!  I think I'll try a different pin first.  If I manage to mangle that one too then I will know that the problem is PEBKAC and will come get kicked!

Oh, and the fact that the image you used is the BSD daemon is pure awesome.

wellllllll poop.  It seems a $0.99 pin plus shipping = about how much gas I need to go to 400 J&L so there is my answer!

What part of town are you in?  I know Chris @ semper fi arms has helped several people on here in the past with lost/broken parts from a LPK.

In the GA-15 I used a Double Star kit which worked fine.  I am going to replace the trigger anyway.  This was that second Mega.  I'll end up replacing that trigger too.  I was just putting a kit in to put a kit in.  Oh well!
