i was so excited today. i took my family to visit my parents yesterday, and on the way home, i noticed a new fun shop had moved into a strip mall about 3 miles from my house. i was hung up at work this afternoon, but hightailed it over to his place this afternoon to take a look at what he had. yeah, i don't think he'll be around long.
everything in his place was at or above MSRP...$701 for a 4" ruger gp100. 4.5" XD9M for $700. 1 lb. canister or unique for $30. a box of 50 ranger SXT in 40 cal: $45.
I've never in my life seen things priced at retail. for grins I looked up the GP100 when I got home, and his price is exactly what is on Ruger's website. The guy's place I usually patronize is about 15 minutes away. He has the GP for ~$525 and the XD for $575. The new guy actually had a GON sticker on his door. I chuckled both coming and going! Oh well, the hunt for a G17 continues. I guess all in all, it isn't a bad thing...I need a crack dealer that close to my house like I need a hole in my head! -matt |

nope, i traded it off a while back. can't say a really miss it either. 10 round mags suck...even in 45 acp. XD45 ? FNP-45? P14-45? I've shot the first two and the M&P. The FNP wins, hands down. Nice gun that weighs just right for me. Love that gun. |

I love my FNP 45 as well. I would not trade it for anything! Well, maybe, I just really like it. rich I wholeheartedly agree. 15 rounds of pure shooting pleasure. Best hi-cap off the shelf 45 ever. The thing is a frigging tack driver and fun to shoot. Just holding it makes me grunt. |
