Anyone know where i can get my taurus worked on in ATL. I was out shooting this weekend and i have a pt145 and something is preventing the slide from going back, it goes maybe halfway back then locks. I was able to get it apart and there is a "spot" on the slide part of the pistol frame
Sorry for my lack of knowledge in guns. and not knowing the proper names for things |

hey does anyone know i would legally mail a gun to them? Contact them..they will give u a RO. Take it to Fedex and u will have to next day it to them It's legal to ship directly to the manufacturer and for them to ship it back to you. I just got a rifle back from S&W today for a warranty repair. S&W said not to drop the package off at a Kinkos or other FedEX drop off location. They said I needed to hand it to the driver and tell him that it was a firearm. S&W e-mailed me a FedEx ground tag. I called Fedex and they sent out a driver who would be there sometime between 8 AM and 7PM. Same as the delivery. As others have said, call Taurus and they'll explain the process to you. Also, welcome to the forum. |

Ill take a look at it if you want, i'm in marietta... other than that, if you call taurus they will send out a fedex guy to pick it up after sending you the label for it.....its free for lifetime... takes about 3-4 week turnaround I WISH it was 3-4 weeks. Taurus now makes up for about 8 out of 10 of all returns for service. From Judges and Milleniums seem to be the worst of the bunch, put TCPs are catching up. They have got to be the shittiest company out there. On average my customers have to wait more like 2-3 MONTHS due to the high volume of returns to Taurus. Recently Taurus has been sending Factory Reps around to Wholesalers to address the problem. Some wholesalers have even started to take the guns back directly to keep gun shops appeased and buying Tauruses. Honestly get it fixed, Ditch it and get something that actually works. Like others have said, Call Taurus- they are WELL versed in repairs. A "Full Lifetime Warranty" means dick if it spends half the year in the mail. |
but ill take the advise and contact taurus thank you all for the help and lol
