After looking at the Strac FAST system for a long time, I decided I wanted to buy one to test when they released their newest version a couple of weeks ago. I found that C-Products sells them for a nice discount and includes three of their stainless steel mags for free. So I ordered one and it just showed up yesterday.
It takes up six MOLLE slots width wise and about four-five height wise. It fit great on my Point Blank SPIDER vest. After practicing for about five to ten minutes, I can now acheive sub two second reloads with it. The FAST system only hold three magazines, but it wasn't meant to be your end all, be all for carrying mags. It was developed for an active shooter scenario or as a primary mag dispenser when you need fast access to magazines. You can still keep your other mag pouches to refill from. Does anyone else run one? I am very impressed with the quality and am happy I bought it. |
