im going to attend an appleseed event in augusta. But my question is to people that have been. I've got a 10/22 with a scope, should i pull the scope off and get some tech sights? And i thought about getting a spike .22 conversion for the ar , but it lacks iron sights too its got an aimpoint on it. I know im over thinking this way too much.
What gun(s) should i use and how should i set them up to get the most? it says optic are welcome but i have limited experience with irons |

I've shot a few Appleseeds. Those one inch by one inch black squares at 25 yds are a bit tough. I may use some sort of optic on the next one I am planning to go to in April. The wife says that my eyesight is starting to go, and to try to give a scope or optic a try.
I would rather score with iron's but if you can make it... well. Sucks getting old. |
