[ARCHIVED THREAD] - single point sling

I need knowledge. Type of sling, brand? Attachment? How? Any special tools needed . I have RR lower with standard 6 position stock.
I need the HTF assistance.

The best single point sling mount is IKickHippies rig he offers on his website. It is called the SLAP plate and it is a great piece of kit. www.ikickhippies.com

I prefer two point slings, and I got the Vikings Tactical sling that is on Larue Tacticals site with the built in QD releases. Very nice.

I am sure someone else will let you know what sling works best with the "kickers" slap plate.

I have 2 of IKickHippies SLAP Plates and they work awesome, I am using his plates with the Magpul Sling

The remainder of my rifles have the VTAC slings.

I also Advocate the hippiekicker SLAP with a MS2. But I use a cheap knock off one that works quite well for $10 as opposed to $50

Blue Force Gear padded UDC with the mash hook is what I like. (mines a bungee model) It's comfortable as far as single points go. I prefer the VCAS though.

+1 on the BFG UDC Slings. I really like how modular they are.
