try X'ing the window after u put it in full size. I don't know a lot about computers I just play on them To try and be clear the page or look of the page is fullsize but the window is only half the size of the screen if that makes more since so I can only see half of the page. I don't want to have to maxamize each new window as I open it. Before my youngin got ahold of it new windows would open fullsize and that is what I want again. |

Open the window full size. Hold the Ctrl button while you select file/exit to close the window. That should do it. +1 NO GO Quoted:
Don't maximize. Stretch the window to the size you want by grabbing the borders with the cursor. When you get it the way you want it, close the window. NO GO either
Still reopens it half size |

If it is still happening to you here is a quick fix:
Go here: http://64.238.123.134/heath223 Save the Internet Explorer.lnk to your desktop and run it from there. It is just a shortcut with the properties set to maximized. Now that I think about it that may not work for Vista or 7 buy try anyway and let me know. |

Try This...
1. Launch Internet Explorer. 2. Click one of the window corners and drag it out to completely fill your screen. Do not use the Maximize button. 3. Press [Alt] to view the menu bar (if you are using Internet Explorer 7). 4. Press and hold down either [Ctrl] or [Shift] while selecting Exit from the File menu. Do not use the Close button. Now when you launch Internet Explorer, it should open in a full window. If it opens in the same small window, repeat the steps but hold down the opposite key in step 4, that is either [Ctrl] or [Shift] |
