I am thinking of going to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, which is awesome by the way, and i would like to carry while there. However, i don't know if this would be considered a public gathering, right now i'm guessing that it would. What say the experts here? I have been to the ASO several times before and loved it but walking through those parking decks late at night make me nervous.

Here is the public gathering (Jim Crow Era Law)

16-11-127

b. For the purpose of this Code section, 'public gathering' shall include, but shall not be limited to, athletic or sporting events, churches or church functions, political rallies or functions, publicly owned or operated buildings, or establishments at which alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises. Nothing in this Code section shall otherwise prohibit the carrying of a firearm in any other public place by a person licensed or permitted to carry such firearm by this part.

Who owns the concert hall is it ASO or city of Atlanta?
There is state AG's opinion that you can carry at the mall unless there is political meeting at the mall.
But that is an opinion not a legal precedent.
