Also gotta thank Mark for taking the extra time to let me hear the Evo9, TiRant 9, and SWR Trident side by side without the crowd of the silencer shoot. So which did you prefer? I made the decision to based on a conversation over the phone. I've never heard both side by side. BTW nice toy. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile The Tirant was slightly quieter than the Evo and Trident, but I don't think the $$ difference is worth it. I'll probably get the Evo. In the future if I get myself a subgun I'll get the Trident also. |

My form 4 finally came back. http://media.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=13055 http://media.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=13053 Sent the check off at the end of May. Now to get to Creekside and get it broken in tomorrow if the rain holds off. Also gotta thank Mark for taking the extra time to let me hear the Evo9, TiRant 9, and SWR Trident side by side without the crowd of the silencer shoot. ETA: DAMN I need to clean off my desk. Nice looking rifle. I'm waiting for the call from Mark telling me my form 4 is back for my EVO-9. It's been a long wait. |

How would you guys compare the Sabre to a slightly used Colt 6933? Say if you could get the Colt 6933 for $1,200? What's "slightly used?" How many rounds does it have through it? You can get a brand new 6933 for $1400. They're both very good rifles. Personally I'd go for the Colt because I have experience with the quality. I don't have 1st hand experience with a Sabre but I've heard good things about them. |

Great looking rifle Jim. Good to see you at the shoot last weekend. It's perfect timing that you're in town and the form is back. Enjoy.
IMO, Sabre is very high quality good fit and finished. The vanadium barrel probably last me the life time because I can't afford to buy the ammo and shoot until the barrel short out... |

One of these days i am gonna be able to post one of these threads to thank for mark transferring my free can to me.Only two months since i sent the paperwork in so i guess it will be another month or two before i make that post. This is worse then the last week before christmas when i was a youngster.Well maybe not that bad but pretty darn close.I hope i will have it before the end of year match at creekside so i dont have sand, mud and water blowing up in my face like last year.

Well Jim did u get out and shoot this dang thing today I had to go fix my BIL's computer today. I put about 30 rds through it in his backyard. at 50 yds took about 3 shots to get it sighted in then had 3 groups of 5 that you could cover with a quarter. I'm going to try to make it to creekside tomorrow and zero it at 100. Only thing that needs improvement is the trigger is a little heavy for my taste, I may get a Geissele or a Timney for it. |
