Went to the one out in Kennesaw last week and last night. I just feel like Ineed to see Transformers 2 on Imax as many times as I can before it's relegated forever to my 56 incher :(
I was really sorry that i missed the first one in theaters after I picked it up on blu ray. Giant robot battles must be GIANT. My girlfriend and I sat in the second to last bottom row to have everything tower over us, so cool. |

Imax is always cool, haven't seen Transformers 2, not a fan of the new reboot. But I did watch I Am Legend on Imax, loved the level of detail I could observe more than anything.
I like D&B, I'm a Gold member, but you have to pick the right days to go because sometimes it gets really crowded and people mistake it for Chucky Cheese and take their infants there. Tons of tiny kids running around. |

That specific movie is in IMAX at AMC 24 Barrett Commons.
Not full IMAX just select scenes. Synopsis Digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience through proprietary IMAX DMR technology, 'Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: The IMAX Experience' will debut concurrently with the nationwide release in conventional theatres beginning June 24, 2009. 'Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: The IMAX Experience' will feature select scenes filmed with IMAX cameras. Director Michael Bay has seamlessly integrated the IMAX footage with state-of-the-art CGI to create an unprecedented look and feel for this highly anticipated sequel. The movie sequences shot in traditional 35mm will be digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The IMAX DMR scenes will appear in the traditional "letterbox" shape, while scenes shot with IMAX's cameras will expand vertically on the IMAX screen. |

Goldmembers just pay less for games, and get more dinner and beer discounts in our emails. You get it from playing lots of games. So most non-gamers won't get it and don't need it anyway.
Never done a birthday there, but their dinner-only areas are pretty nice. Dark-bar style sit-in's. I suppose it would be great to have a birthday dinner and then break out for pool and video games. The food their is pretty great and worth the money, although a bit expensive at times. A few years ago the quality of food and the service was much better. It's still pretty good though. |

haven't been to the "imax" at kennesaw but to my understanding it doesn't hold a candle to the one at mog. That's correct. I saw Watchmen at MoG. When I walked into the one at Kennesaw I was kind of like "wtf? Could have swore other one was bigger" Did my research today and now realize that we have to go see it a third time at the Buford Imax. |
