Has anyone been there, is it a good gun shop? I've heard good things about it but Its an hour drive one way from Columbus and not near anything else I care about going to.

It's worth the trip.  Good wide range selection of pistols and rifles.

No affiliation - just been going there for years.

If you're looking for a particular firearm call ahead.
If you're going to just go look it's still worth the drive. You can be there in 45 mins from Columbus. I think they have some of the best prices in the state.

I have been once (coming out of Macon) and I thought it was worth the trip.  I plan on going back if I can get some free time.

Best gun store in the state bar none. It is everything you need guns and car parts. I have bought several guns from them , they have a ton of stuff in the back. Bo Barrow is a genuine nice guy as well. he treats people fair and straightforward. I Like my trips to Barrow

+1 For Barrow's

They've been around for years and are worth the drive without a doubt. Fair prices and one heck of a selection.

I've bought several guns from Bo and he is a good guy.  Price wise on guns he's really pretty good especially on used guns, about average on new guns.  When I was in there last he had TONS of ammo in cases for sale.  His case prices were a a little higher than I'd seen locally in ATL (like maybe $25/case more).  BUT at that time finding cases of AK or AR ammo here in town was a bit difficult.

I would say that if you are looking for AR magazines, you'll do better online by far.

Like any store some things are good deals and he makes more profit on other items.

I don't visit there much b/c its an hour south of my deer club, but come deer season, I'll be there at least once for several hours.

If you are headed to Barrows stop by and shoot the rifle match in Woodbury.
