Was this a new one? Or the old one that they've shown before?
I remember watching the old one on youtube. ETA: Watching it right now on a re-showing. I feel weird about one of the comments so far ....... AP 7.62x39mm was designed to go through tanks?.... Really? Good show, definitely more exciting than their old version. Some of the same experts are in this one as well. The only thing I don't like about it is the constant flaunting of the weapon names as well as the chronological presentation. Cool to see Pmags. WEIRD mustache on the one guy. |

several years ago i met lew tippie when he was a staff member here. he was wanting a new great dane and the rescue my wife was working for had one.
short story, we went over to his house a few times and they came over here a coupel to hang out. i considerd him a friend. I was in the market for an M1A at the time and lew told me he had a spare kit and for 1200.00 could build me a better rifle than i could buy off the shelf. trusting him i gave him a check. Fast forward a year later i start asking questions about the gun. i am told he can't get a reciever "that meets his specs" but he is still looking. another year and MANY MANY lies later i begin to pursue a refund. Since he is now on actuve duty deployment i have a hard time tracking and following him around. After making a LARGE issues here i convince ed and juan to have him removed from staff and banned from ar15.com as a thief. A few months later i recieve 340.00 from his now ex-wife with a promise to pay the rest in a few months. No problem i figure rough times hit and he has decided to make good on the deal. Then the bottom falls out. he dissapears again and i find i am not the only one looking for him. Apparently he has not delivered several rifles and has also seemed to "lose" more than a few peoples gear he was working on at the time. I have written off the remaining 800.00. based oin what he owed others if we all decided to sue i'd likey never see a dime anyway. Tippie now works for predator arms out TN. He is a peice of shit and i hope he rots in hell. I will do everything in my power to insure people know what kind of a douchbag he is, and what kind of a person predator arms has building ther guns. There is a LOT more to this story including on of his ex girlfriends getting my number and sending me copies of evidence she apparently turned into the army CID about stolen ammuntion and gun parts while he was on active duty. I was told an investigation was initiated and i did talk with his CO about some moneys refunded but there were enough poeple in line with MUCH bigger loses that i felt need to be paid first. i am unsure who or how many people, if any, actually got compensation. this has been an ongoing soap opera since day one. lew is a disgrace to the community, the Marine Corps and the US Army.   i have one cardinal rule i broke in this deal and it bit me. if you know a man has cheated on his spouse... don't deal with him. if he cheats on the one person he took a serious vow with.... whats he gonna do to you. he has a LOOOONG history of that as well.
