I was looking on Ammunitiontogo.com for some 9mm ammo and all they had in FMJ was a boat load of various environmentally friendly, lead free, frangible loads. Well a box of 50 costs $30!!! Screw that! You can buy a 50 pack of Federal Law Enforcement HST Hollow Points for that kind of money.
You better have a severe lead allergy, or a private indoor range at your house to want to spend that kind of money on a box of plinking ammo. Anyone use this crap? Crappy Ammo |
| We use it at work for when we are training on steel targets, but that's about it. It's gov-issue, so I ain't paying for it (I wouldn't at those prices!). It's as accurate out of my P229 in .357SIG as ball ammo is, but it's dirty as hell. Really fouls up the works. I guess by Clean-Fire they mean no lead in the projectiles or primers. |
