yes, I should have paid more attention in the past.

I need a .22 rifle barrel cut down to 16-1/2 inches, threaded 1/2x28 and a dovetail cut for the front sight.

My first choice would be Andy Gazzaway, but am looking for something quicker. A friend of his tells me he's WAY backed up at the moment.

Call Gazaway first. He usually collect barrel chop and threads and then does them all at once. I got in on the tail of the collections and got mine done in two days.

After about 6 mos, I finally located a Remington 511, .22 bolt/mag fed rifle. Am going to turn it into a .22 Scout suppressor host / women/kid training/rodent control weapon.

and it's the next best alternative to getting into my 5.56 war-stock.
