A big thanks to Joe and the crowd for putting on a very informative and practical class. This was my first official carbine class, and i was very impressed. I had to leave at 8pm and they were still going at it with the night portion. Wifey had been patient all day and i only had about 20 rounds of ammo left. It was great to meet all the guys that attended, as well as seeing others again. I will definitely be attending other classes.

I learned a lot and will be spending some time figuring what works for me.
Fighting with a Carbine is a lot different than shooting a rifle.
I was out of the Corps for 8+ years but easily able to shot expert on the KD course again despite the lay off.
The Basic Carbine class was much tougher than the field/tables 2 and 3 course of fire the Marine Corps put me through
Several times my brain housing group locked up during a drill
My 7.5 lb mid length owned my ass on a lot the drills

When I find a deal on a 6 pos stock, I'll sign up for the next one.

Do you have the buffer tube itself ?  Ive got a mil spec stock that I took off my Stag and put a MagPul MOE on.  If you want it Ill leave it with the hippie kicker at 400 and you can have it.

Hey guys!  It was good meeting you all (even the peanut gallery ).  Great class and loads of fun.
I think the rain and mud made it even better.

Remember those exercises I told you about (the pouring the water pitcher with 5 or 10lbs weights).  Your shoulder muscles will thank you next carbine class you take.
