Just north of gainesville on 985 is wilson shoals wma with an 80 yard outdoor range, and there is also creekside range in taylorsville georgia, which is about 50 miles from cumming and is 100 yards. Those are the only outdoor ranges around these parts I know of.

Its been a few years but used to go there for their IPSC matches.  IIIRC its off of 60 near 985 behind some chicken processing plants.

You did not specify - are you looking for public ranges or looking to join a private club?  Public ranges are listed in the previous link I posted.  Membership clubs in the area include Riverbend Gun Club in SW Dawson county (I'm an RBGC member), Cherokee in Gainsville (I've shot SASS matches there), Griffin (I've shot SASS matches there), South River, Creekside,  and probably others I am not thinking of at the moment.  Google them to locate their websites for more info.
