Actually BB Gun handling training is do....
Our neighbor's 7 year old kid just shot out their garage window after just 15 minutes of receiving his first Red Ryder
He has a couple of airsoft guns but now has a gun more capable of REAL damage so his Uncle 7mm08 Before y'all start jumping on the 'rents here is a little background on them. Both are unemployed...the kid is adopted-adopted days after birth so in effect he is THEIR son & is loved very much by his 'rents, he gets along with all the other neighborhood kids...mom is a full time mom & is still a full time mom for her son & husband...dad is the kind of guy that would help you build your fence, paint your house or cut your grass while your out of town-he's done that & more, however its been 2.5 years since he was diagnosed w/ ALS So I'm off to their house w/ some cans, balloons, crackers, SAFETY GLASSES, LOCKABLE GUN CASE. Wish me luck. 7mm |

AAR
We survived the shoot. No eyes were shot out. No Blood No Foul. The balloons were a lot tougher than I remembered or the Red Ryder was a bit under powered So after a couple of balloons were shot at w/o popping we dinged the cans for a while. His dad & I really wanted to shoot the neighbors inflatable yard decorations but my wife said NO! since they were in OUR yard!We took an old Army blanket and used it as a back stop. I draped it in such a way as to collect the BB's in one big fold w/ an old speaker magnet in the bottom of the fold. You put the magnet in a zip lock baggie turned inside out. After all the shooting is done just invert the baggie as you pull it off & you collect the BB's nice & neat in the baggie. Yea, I'm cheap like that.:bounce: 7mm |
