| Can anyone explain the Ga. Stance on auto knifes like the microtechs? I've tried reading it and I get a headache :/ |
|
Thats what I thought also, but looking at it...it reads like you can't "sell out of state, and you can't carry it out of state".
Like I said...I get a headache...and I don't understand by knives have these BS laws when you can carry a firearm concealed :/ Just read through this, and unless its missing something then auto knives don't appear to be banned. http://www.thebladeshop.com/Georgia_s/520.htm Just seems they are considered a "weapon" and basically can't be carried in the same places that you can't carry a firearm. The only pain I really see is the fact you can't get a license for it. So....is it considered concealed if you have it in your pocket with the top half exposed because of the clip? |

I don't own one, but looked into it a few years ago. IIRC unless you're active duty, firefighter or some other 'entitled class' they are legal to own, but not legal to carry. |
| Auto knives. You can buy them all day log in GA. Crap I was just going to tell you the name of the place that has some benchmades in stock but it slipped my mind. Gimme a bit and I'll post it up. It's on 41 headed north from Marietta into Kennesaw on the left. Eh, gimme a bit. |

The best automatic knives are the Lone Wolf Lobos. They look just like a normal folder, but they have a secret switch that is activated using a scale release. The knife is double action so it opens and closes just like a normal pocket knife until you activate the scale release.
I love this knife and nobody would know it is an auto unless they have seen one themselves. |

I thought "double action" referred to one switch allowing the knife to be "open" and then "closed" or is that only in referrence to MT's That said, the MT knifes are the best autos I have ever used and owned. Beretta Gallery in Dallas has some of the Lone Wolf folders, not autos, but they are nice knives. |
