Any GA locals have a barrel threading kit for a WASR?

How does such a kit work? Is it concentric to the bore?

the whole rig sells for about $70.00.

it's a tap and die with a 7.62x39 bore guide that fits down the barrel so the threads get cut straight.

takes about 30 minutes to complete the job.

They seem to work well.

A couple of years ago somebody on the AK forum had a threading kit they were renting out for a few dollars. I think they were charging $10.00 to $15.00 which seemed fair enough. I'm not sure how they insured that the renter would return the threading kit after they completed their project but I seem to recall this kit being used by at least 50 different people.

It works well, I was contacted by someone on another forum and I made a guide to fit a 5.45 bore for him.  I only made the guide since he had a die.  He told me it worked perfect and the rifle was threaded straight.
