CHICAGO - Rep. Rahm Emanuel combines political instincts, White House experience and a Chicago tough-guy attitude — traits that he's likely to need as President-elect Barack Obama's new chief of staff.
His combative style as political director in the early days of the Clinton administration earned him the nickname "Rahmbo," after the flame-throwing movie character Rambo. He didn't always produce results, though. Emanuel lost that job but stayed on as a senior adviser and oversaw some of Clinton's top initiatives, including NAFTA and an assault-weapons ban. |

"Tough guy" attitude? That guy's as queer as a three dollar bill. Have you heard him speak? Gaydar BLIP! He's married with kids, I think, so I think he's a Larry Craig-style closet homo. Not surprised he'd dislike "assault weapons" at all - more into spending his money on couture, I would imagine.
ETA: My wife agrees - she puts it as, "he's a little light in the loafers." We have no proof, but we're rarely ever both wrong. Give this guy a while with close public scrutiny, and he'll be caught tapping his foot in the bathroom stall. |

Go read his bio on wikapedia , the guy went to colledge on schollarship by doing ballet and even has a degree in ballet , so now we have B.O. and his faggot Chief of Staff. LOL, I was gonna post the same thing! I read that the other day when they started talking about him being appointed. What the hell does a ballerina have to do with politics???? I have not heard him speak yet....now I am looking forward to it, LOL I am pretty sure most Jews would disown him, LOL |

his faggot Chief of Staff. Is that really relevant? I mean, I am a bible-toting baptist and think its wrong, but using it to disqualify someone from a job or slinging it as a slur only reaffirms what the typical non-gun-owner thinks of us.
In the leadership role that he will be taking YES!!! it does disqualify him for that job. It shows a lack of morals that this country was founded on. |

| I'm more interested in his political viewpoints and handling of domestic and foreign affairs than I am in some classes he may have taken in college many decades ago. He's obviously not doing ballet anymore, at any rate. If Obama had hired a ballet dancer from Broadway to be his chief of staff then I'd care about the whole ballet thing. There's a lot more to be worried about, like the guy's take on the 2nd amendment. |

If you read up on him you will see he is no friend of the 2A. If you want to see what direction he is going to lead us.....you first have to look at what direction he came from. |

The amount of racism, homophobism, anti-Islamism and other general short-minded hatreds spewing forth from ARFCOM members lately really has me taken aback... and has shown me a number of peoples' true colors. I have friends that are gay. Its their life, not mine. But even they know that I am strongly against somebody gay holding a position of power over this country with a lack of morals. Thats my opinion and I express it openly. Lots of folks like to use the word "homophobe" when we have a differing "opinions". |

Much like how some people call someone a racist even when they have only presented facts. |
Well, my wife has a gay friend or two, and I really don't care if they're gay. That's between them and God. What I can't stand is when a gay person pretends to be straight for social and political advancement. That's why I brought up Mr. Emmanuel's sissy nature. If he's gay, so what? If he's a girly gay (not all of them are girly), and if he's pretending to be straight and being called "macho" or is being said to have a "tough guy attitude?"
