I took the first Carbine Readiness, it was great, and worth more than the $75. Unfortunately I'll be out of town on business on December 13th, so I'll have to wait for the next advanced course. Joe, I think you said that you were going to start having courses more often, so hopefully the advanced class will come around again soon, as I really want to continue my training. By the way, I have been practicing my "workspace".

please put me on the dec 13th list joe, thanks!

what's the rd count going to be for that class?

Question Joe- on your calender on www.creeksidefiringrange.com I think you accidentally have the Advanced class on for Dec. 20th. The reason i think it's a type-o is cause the .22 match is also off by a week.

I hope that the class is definitely on the 13th. I don't think I'll be able to go on the 20th.

I'm IM'ing you about this now.

Yeah guys the advanced class is on the 13th and the simunition class will be after the first of the year, but in the advanced class we will be using air soft and paintball guns for force on force. Yes we will be having future classes.

Thanks Joe

Joe, I cant afford to take any classes at the moment, however if you need a big guy for force on force .... or someone to get shot at and shoot back you know all you need to do is ask.

Since I don't have drill in Nov, I would like to take the Basic course in Nov.
How many rounds of 5.56 do I need and can I shoot iron sites?

Thanks

You will need at least 500 and if you bring more you will definitely shoot them. Round count averaged between 700 to 900 last course. Some guys shot a little more than others when they had the chance. If you bring 700 you will have enough for the day and night portion.

Yes the December class will go into the night. Both classes will go to 10:00 p.m.

To answer some of the questions. No level is required for the November course.

We will offer this course once every 6 weeks or so.

The round count for Dec. is around 700 carbine and 200 pistol. Bring more and you will shoot it.

Thanks Joe

Your going to want something to hold mags for your rifle. A good chest rig will work. or you can go all out with the latest and greatest vest set up, or hell for that matter the very basic web gear set will work just fine.

I recommend you get a Eagle M4 chest rig, or some type of molle platform. It is hard to recommend just one vest for everyone. what works for some will not work for others.

For example, I use an Eagle Rhodesian Recon Vest, A lot of people like just the basic Chest rig, My dad runs (on what rare occasion he gets to the range) an full out Eagle CIRAS... it just depends on what you are comfortable in.

hope this helps.

This is something (starting to look at some sort of molle gear) that I've been meaning to do, but have put off while I work out the rifle purchase, so thanks for the info.  Suggestions on where to shop would also be welcome.
