Joe, Put me down for the Advanced Carbine Readiness Course. M.
|
| I took the first Carbine Readiness, it was great, and worth more than the $75. Unfortunately I'll be out of town on business on December 13th, so I'll have to wait for the next advanced course. Joe, I think you said that you were going to start having courses more often, so hopefully the advanced class will come around again soon, as I really want to continue my training. By the way, I have been practicing my "workspace". |
|
Question Joe- on your calender on www.creeksidefiringrange.com I think you accidentally have the Advanced class on for Dec. 20th. The reason i think it's a type-o is cause the .22 match is also off by a week. I hope that the class is definitely on the 13th. I don't think I'll be able to go on the 20th. I'm IM'ing you about this now. |
Well, I was really looking forward to this, but now I can't friggin wait! This will be a great experience. Definitely and eye opener I'm sure. |
|
You will need at least 500 and if you bring more you will definitely shoot them. Round count averaged between 700 to 900 last course. Some guys shot a little more than others when they had the chance. If you bring 700 you will have enough for the day and night portion. Yes the December class will go into the night. Both classes will go to 10:00 p.m. |
There are a whole bunch more on the line during the course too! |
Why not, just take the phone with you and when they call you, you can not hear the phone ring anyway.... Joe, I'm not gonna be able to stay until 10:p.m. Is it o.k if I sneak out around 7:30 p.m Nuum |
| hey guys ar newcomer here in newnan....very interested in this type of course....besides the ar and ammo, what else would be required? i only have about 100 rds down the pipe on my ar...what kind of minimum experience level is required? any other info is great....thanks |

Quoted: hey joe thanks for the response...what about equipment requirements for guys like me that have never attended a course? what would you recommend? thanks Your going to want something to hold mags for your rifle. A good chest rig will work. or you can go all out with the latest and greatest vest set up, or hell for that matter the very basic web gear set will work just fine. I recommend you get a Eagle M4 chest rig, or some type of molle platform. It is hard to recommend just one vest for everyone. what works for some will not work for others. For example, I use an Eagle Rhodesian Recon Vest, A lot of people like just the basic Chest rig, My dad runs (on what rare occasion he gets to the range) an full out Eagle CIRAS... it just depends on what you are comfortable in. hope this helps. |

Quoted: This is something (starting to look at some sort of molle gear) that I've been meaning to do, but have put off while I work out the rifle purchase, so thanks for the info.
