Hi all!  I have a very large, extremely heavy duty work bench I need out of the garage.  I built this about 3 yrs ago.  It's frame is entirely 4x4s and 2x6s.  The worktop is a full sheet of 4 x 8 x 1/2 thick plywood.  A full sheet of peg board covers the back.  It has 5 120v outlets built in, (one under the light switch, and 4 at the end not visible in the pic) as well as two dual tube 4' fluorescent lights hard wired to a standard light switch.  All the electrical components are wired to a single, construction grade plug that you place in any outlet to power the whole bench.  There are dozens of pegboard hangers of various sizes and types including the small cabinet types shown.  I have an unopened pack of additional hangers included.  I am in the process of moving, and need this out of the house.  You'll need at least an 8' truckbed or trailer and a couple stout dudes to move it. It cost me nearly $400 to build, but I'll be happy to send it off to a HTF member for $100 + you pick it up.  I'll throw in the custom built, one of a kind paper towel holder for free . It would make a great reloading / gun building or woodworking station. You can hammer on this bench all day and not hurt a thing. It's built tall so that you can work standing up without bending and wearing out your back.  However if you wanted it lower, it's nothing 5 minutes with a Skill saw wouldn't fix.  I'll leave it here for you all a couple days, and then it's going on Craig's List.  Hope someone here can use it!

PM or Email is fine!

I'd like to have it but my son has my garage full of furniture right now and I don't know when he's coming to get it.

Priorities man, priorities!  His stuff will be fine under a tarp in the back yard!

so how long is it? I have a 6'4 bed and am contemplating this and or might know some one who would want it and I would be using my truck either way.

It is right at 8'.  It is built solidly enough that I doubt having a little hang over the end of the tailgate would hurt anything.

Last chance--it's going on Craigs List today...

That is a great workbench.

I don't have the room, but I am going to steal some design ideas for my existing bench!
