Went and paid a visit to Mission Essential today to see if they had a mil-spec CTR, and ended up picking up a Taurus PT1911. Got a pretty sweet deal, couldn't pass it up.

I got one. Polished the throat, lowered front sight,(6 o'clock shit is for the birds) and had a trigger job done. Shoots as good or better than my Kimber.

I have been avoiding that place like the plague. Every time I go in there I want to buy something. Damn Josh.

I love 1911's. I have a Taurus wheel gun shoots great and three 1911's ( Les Baer, S&W, Colt ) that migth be my next one. Taurus, they really make nice guns that shoot well.
