Has anyone from the HTF ever owned a clone eotech, trijicon, etc? If so, what were the experiences  good/bad?

I had an Aimpoint Comp M2 clone a long time ago and it would not even keep zero on a .22LR.  I hear they have gotten better but I don't bother any more with that stuff.  If you want functional stuff for not much more money check out some of the ComBloc stuff that places like Kalinka Optics sells.  You will get decent optics built like a tank for not much more than the crappy Chinese clones sell for.

The actual sites will not hold their zeroes and generally aren't adjustable out of the box.  Basically their screws are stripped or just don't work when it comes to the movement of the dot.  Now the replica 3x mags to augment them pretty much work like the real product.

I don't own a real or a clone EOTECH but have used them.  I have grown accustomed to the saying, "Buy Once, Cry Once!"  Besides, an EOTECH is only less than half the price of a new AR15

Thats what I thought, yall would say, but ive learned in this hobby you get what you pay for.......sometimes.......I was just hoping that the website wasnt lying but I figured they were  "just as tough and just as dependable as the real thing".....right.

Mabey they are geared more towareds airsoft or something like that.

Hijacking my own thread-lookinin,  any word on the HTF shirts?

The Eotech itself, is the first Clone.
Eotech's are clones of the original Bushnell Halo sights. I still have 3 of them, and have been using for over 10-12 years and also have 1 Eotech. The only differences that are really noticable visually or in use, are the length, protective hood and occasional battery change with those damn N size. Of course they are plentiful here in the states so not a problem to get.
Have the Eotech atop a G35 since it was the shortest of the lot and all of them get a good 3 gun bashing at least monthly.

If your going to do something then do it right.  I would skip the clone and get a real EOTech.  Just keep a look out on the EE.  I just scored a new 552 A65 F for $335 shipped.  Cry once, you know.

ummmm

eotech built the site for busnell. they also handled warranty and repair claims. the new eotechs are simply different revisions of the same site.
