I have to go to a 401k company seminar next Friday in Savannah.  I have to be there at 1230.  I was wondering if any Savannah ARFCOMers would want to meet at the Chinese buffet on Derrienne about 1100 or 1115?  I think it's Derienne.  Isn't that the street that 516 dumps into on the other end from Garden City?

The buffet is about 2 blocks from where 516 ends between Abercorn and Whitehorse (I think that's the name).

I get Derienne and Abercorn mixed up.

I doubt I can make it -- I'm teaching classes on Friday.

But I do second the motion to go to Super King Buffet.  Its got a great selection.

Chen's was the best 9 years ago, but the bar has been raised.

The Chinese buffet on Eisenhower is much better than both of them.

I am up for lunch on Friday, I will be off work that day... remind me the day before

Nothing, of course.  I would never do that in a company vehicle.

If I was, next week would be the AR24.

Damn.  Sorry about that.  I didn't read the replies enough I guess.  I had lunch with rangermonroe at a Chinese buffet in Richmond Hill.

Sorry.  I did mention to rangermonroe about maybe coming over weekend and bring some AR10s and stuff to the DNR range in Richmond Hill.

Will let you know.  Sorry I messed it up.

That's Super King, isn't it? Right beside the Mazda dealership? We were discussing the Super King greatness earlier in the thread. It is the poo. Somebody said there was a better one off of Eisenhower, but I haven't tried that one yet.

I just moved out to RH, so I haven't yet had a chance to vette the local eateries.  This one is off the list.  

Any time you guys want to hit the range, give me a call. If I am not on duty, I am up for a range trip.

Eh, it was okay and the main purpose was to meet with a fellow ARFCOMMER.  Sorry about the quick lunch as I had to be at the seminar at 1230.  I was late but nobody cared.

IMO Larry, either of the places that were suggested by the other posters here would have been much better, vittles wise, but hey... the company more than made up for the 'quality' of the feed.  

And we got to talk guns.

Of course, I was the only one armed, as Larry was in a Co vehicle... and they won't let him carry.   He described his ARmalite pistol so well; however, that it felt as though I was holding it in my hand.    

That was a bunch of fun.

My wife liked teasing me..."Off to lunch with some guy you 'met on the internet', eh?
