With the in my opinion raving success of the spring shoot this year how do you guys feel about a fall shoot? Start the planning now and we might be able to arrange some more sponsors and such to make it even better. Was everybody that attended happy with the venue? |

Sounds good for me. I will be more than happy to host another one. Honestly I was shocked at the way the shooters handled themselves and the respect they had for the range. I give it up to the shooters who attended. I truly hope everyone enjoyed the day and will come back. Don't worry the big pit will be graveled like the small one. The tornado kinda set us back a little bit. We have to rebuild our covers over the rifle ranges first. Oh, and a quick note. The restroom will be finished by next week. Whoever wants to set this up. I think it would be a good idea for us to meet and get some ground work going so we can make this an awesome time. If anyone is interested we can even make it a weekend affair and people can camp out by the creek. Just get with me and I am sure we can make this a great event. Even have some contest for everyone and every age. Thanks, Joe |

Alrighty then. I'm willing to take the time to put it together if nobody objects. With Dkings help I believe we can make it the best shoot ever. Joe I'll be at the 22 shoot we can sit down if we get a min. Assuming I get things moved into the new house in time that is. Ok guys we need to look for some sponsors for the range and maybe some prizes and hat drawings. If we get both pits I'd like to set aside the small one for a kids only shooting area with some parents and maybe a few instructor types to work with them. At the end of the day a kids shooting challenge to let them compete with new skills may also be the ticket. I also want to setup a vendor area for sponsors and vendors to setup shop and talk to people one on one. Maybe a swap meet area also if there is interest. |
Yeah, I'm like Grizzly Adams once gun season starts.

Fall Shoot for sure. I think we could always get together for a less organized sometime during the summer heat. I would also like to find a place to shoot my semi 1919 (once it is built) and light off some tannerite. Any ideas for a tannerite shoot? Maybe we could have it in central Georgia so that our friends to the south could make it. We also need to post it in gulf states forum, Florida and Carolinas so that our friends in surrounding states can attend as well. |
