Aren't pine trees worth some $$$???

My dilema: we have 4 pines, each on about 60-70ft tall, really close to the house. I want/need them gone. I just can't afford $300-400 per tree right now to have them taken down. I thought that they were worth some cash to people who remove them.

Anyone in North GA/Forsyth/Dawson/Hall county area willing to help take them down? The tress would be yours for free. Just help me get them down and out of here.

I have got a clear area behind us for easy access in/out to get them. I just need some help taking them down in a safe manner (as in away from the house) and then getting them hauled off. I would just have to get the property owner's permission ahead of time, which shouldn't be a big deal.

If you are willing to help, maybe we can negotiate some type of deal. The trees would be yours to do whatever you want/can with them. I am talking about negotiating some sort of deal in what I would owe you to help, not what you would owe me to get the trees. Asking for help here, not broadcasting my stupidity (- I do that in GD ). I'm not expecting you to give me cash for taking my trees. That's not what I am saying.

ETA: I have a small chain saw that works well on little stuff. I just am not equipped to do this myself (no larger saws, no comealongs, no way to haul, etc).

They are worth some money if you have ancres and acres of them. 4 trees isn't enough to make it worth it for most logging operations as far as i know. My brother in law drives a log truck, and that is what he indicated to me.
if they are a danger to your house, call your insurance co. and tell them. or, call a tree service and ask them if they can get it covered under your homeowners policy

Right on the money.

Thanks. I pretty much knew that already.

I know they weren't worth much but hoped they might be worth enough to be an incentive to get some help.

So, let me rephrase the original question: anyone in N GA want to help an idiot save his house?????

(I figure there is probably an even likelihood of them falling in the next storm/winter freeze and me cutting them down right into my own house!!)
