Any know of any hiring going on at your workplaces in IS(Information Services)? I am in process of applying to cobb county fire. But at the earliest I think I could start school is in April. So i gotta get some bacon for a little while. I would like to contract onsite IT support for a while, but i dont want to get locked into anything permanent. I thought I could pole dance for a while but apparently its illegal in cherokee county. |
What kind of IT support? Windows desktop, Windows server, Networking, SAN management, Unix server? And while we might have a position come open in the near future (we have a candidate in mind for the one opening we have right now, if an agreement can be made about money), for anything my group does, you'd be hard-pressed to learn enough of the environment to be USEFUL before April... |
I can do windows support in my sleep and server support right after I wake up, I have been immersed in health care IT support for the past 10 years, so I have had a chance to do alot. I am trying to shy away from WAN/LAN Management because it does take a while to learn an environment. I have done little unix management, but I am familiar with it. |
