Any know of any hiring going on at your workplaces in IS(Information Services)?
I am in process of applying to cobb county fire. But at the earliest I think I could start school is in April.  So i gotta get some bacon for a little while. I would like to contract onsite IT support for a while, but i dont want to get locked into anything permanent.

I thought I could pole dance for a while but apparently its illegal in cherokee county.

Pole dance on a Festivus pole. Then it's protected by religious freedom, and the lap dnaces are tax deductible as charitable contributions for feed the hungry

What kind of IT support?  Windows desktop, Windows server, Networking, SAN management, Unix server?  And while we might have a position come open in the near future (we have a candidate in mind for the one opening we have right now, if an agreement can be made about money), for anything my group does, you'd be hard-pressed to learn enough of the environment to be USEFUL before April...

I can do windows support in my sleep and server support right after I wake up, I have been immersed in health care IT support for the past 10 years, so I have had a chance to do alot. I am trying to shy away from WAN/LAN Management because it does take a while to learn an environment.  I have done little unix management, but I am familiar with it.
