| Probably three or four SEC teams could have beaten O.S. Best two teams in country are USC and UGA, with LSU strong 3rd! |

yeah, but those idiots in kalifornistan wanted to honor the PAC-10 vs. BIG-10 Tradition (and receive their annual kick-back) despite the shitty match-up. What'd they say- Illinois would travel better? HA. I wish there was a way for both of the teams to lose yesterday, but at least the SEC made a statement. (the last touchdown seemed a bit like a mercy score) |

Go back home and cry some more. When you win your division and then your conference, as LSU did, then you can play for the championship. Until then, be happy with the Sugar Bowl and the WAC Champions. OSU did nothing more than win the schedule that was before them. No college player has anything to do with scheduling. They just try to win against the teams that they play. They lost and dropped to 7th and a flawed system put them back at the top when 6 teams in front of them lost. I, as an OSU fan, knew that we were not a championship team. We had a decent team that got real lucky. Next year was supposed to be our good year. Get ready to cry some more. Next year, OSU will have another good team and a tough schedule to play. If they run the table again, they will be back in the BCS game. Out of conference schedule for them will include a trip to USC, and no matter what the SEC fans say, USC is one of the best programs in the country. |
No crying on my part; UGA brought it on themselves by not beating South Carolina. A team like Tennessee might beat you any given day, but losing to Sourth Carolina was just too bad. I agree that USC has a great program. Too bad the Rose Bowl Committee didn't have enough guts to let UGA play USC...then we'd have known for sure. OS has had no business playing for the championship for the past two years. Of course, the players are doing their best. What the hell does that have to do with this discussion? Their schedulers made sure that they'd be Ohio State Chumps with no real opponents, ergo, their national rating. I got a good laugh out of the announcers' exclamations about OS having the best defense in the country. Yeah, like Hawaii had the best offense in the country. Put 'em up against some real opponents and see how good they are. The proof is in the pudding. OS is 0-for-9 against SEC teams in bowl games. Wanna cry a minute or two about that? |
| Im glad to see that the suckeyes went down ..... Im a PSU fan and I cannot root for OSU is any form of the matter. AND I didnt want to root for LSU .... YES they are a SEC team and it is good for the SEC with profit sharing I still would have liked to see GA for the NC instead of LSU but I agree with that YES GA didnt wint the conference ....... BUT here is my question ...... IF the number 1 team from each side of the conference play for the conference championship that would make the losing conference title team the number 2 team in the conference overall correct? .... IF thats true ...... WHY did the BCS pic GA (#3 in the SEC according to the statement above) get chosen to play in a BCS game over the #2 team in the SEC .... TENN? |
LSU offense stopped playing after first half. No need to wear out players for a decided game At least Bulldogs are #2. |
