Wife bought me one for christmas.

All I can say is DAMN!

one hell of a light for the price.

She got me the L2D CE which is perfect for use at work. The lowest setting is just as bright as my mini mag that I usually use. The turbo setting is blinding and when you activate the strobe HOLY CRAP!

Now go to www.fenix-store.com and get the L1D & P2D body tubes - change with mood.  The L1D & P2D use the same head and tail.  That would give you the option for a smaller form (P2D) that is just as bright (but uses more expensive batteries - CR123A) or (L1D uses a single AA) not quite as bright.

Cool lights. Congratulations (on the light and a wife that would get you one). Enjoy.

Also, for a really small light check out the Fenix L0D CE - uses only a single AAA battery.

I have the one that runs on the two AA. Just about anything that has the Cree bulb emitter is awsome.

I have the Fenix P2D that I always have with me.  sometimes I swear it's better than my headlights.

the one thing I like about the electronic controlled is that when the battery goes out, it goes out completely.  there is no gradual drain.  it just works or it's off.
