Allright, I have my lower, I have my Lower parts kits, I have my stock, now I just need a complete upper in 5.56.  Does anybody have any suggestion as to the best company to order from?  I've looked at Stag Arms web site, DPMS, and model "1" sales.  Any other good ones out there?

I'd get either CMMG from Big Dawg tactical or a upper from del-ton. In Fact, that's exactly what I did do.

How much you look'n to spend?  If you would be willing to spend say, $600-$650, I would say to get a LMT upper and bolt group.  If you were looking to spend a little less, I would say CMMG.  I would say Sabre, but I think they may be a bit over-priced at $750+.

If you want a good color match, upper to lower, that may limit your choices somewhat. I may be picky, but there are shades of black. Some mfg's like DPMS and Mega make really dark moly coated products. To me, RRA seems more like a charcoal finish that doesn't get as shiney. If that matters to you, it's something to consider. You may even want to limit yourself to an upper/lower that are made by the same company to get the best fit/finish match.

I suggest looking at your local shops first, if any are available to you. Some of our hometown guys like KBlagg or JKiser or BigDawg can get you set up also.

DelTon does make a good upper and they are in NC so you get pretty fast shipping. I've got a DelTon midlength thats a real nice shooter.

I ordered mine through DPMS and waited, and Waited, And Waited.  Almost 3 months did it take to get it.  This was almost two-2.5 years ago though.

I would recommend supporting a local dealeror shop, especially if the item you want is in stock...
