| I spend time traveling in NC and TN which my GFL covers... and SC, which it doesn't. I'm assuming that I'll need a non-resident permit from a state that has reciprocity with SC. Any info on what the best solution to cover SC requirements might be? Thanks. |

SC does not accept any licenses that allow non residents. I work in SC, so it really sucks. There are bills pending www.georgiapacking.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1720&highlight= ETA: The only way that you can get an SC permit, is if you own land in the state. |

You can have the gun in your vehicle in the glove compartment or centre console, loaded or unloaded, but that's it. I contacted the police there before I started travelling through the state to get to Charlotte on a weekly basis. Did that for a year and never got stopped, but watch your speed in SC, they don't mess around with speeders. Hot spot is the last 14 miles of I-85 SB for some reason. |
