I might be moving to Georgia, so I was wondering if class 3 goodies are allowed?

If it is, is the whole process difficult in Georgia?

Dealers?

I will be in the Columbus area if that makes any difference.

Welcome to Columbus! (when you get here)

Yes C3 items are allowed in GA.

Unfortunately no one in Columbus carries Class III.

There are several good guys on this board that can point you in the right direction for your nearest Class III needs.

I know that Barrow Automotive (yes, it's a gun store) in Butler, GA will do Class III transfers but they are not a stocking dealer for anything of that nature. Butler is about 45mins east of Columbus.

What brings you to the thriving metropolis of Columbus?

I don't mind having to drive for a bit for some class 3 toys.

Is Barrow Automotive good to deal with?  I won't mind having to wait a little longer for the things I want to order.

The Army brings me to Columbus.

You are in one of the Class III paradise states.  The only NFA item that is not allowed here are incendiary destructive devices, so you'll have to leave your napalm cannisters where you came from.  Everything else is not only allowed, but vigorously encouraged.

As for SOT holders, I don't know of any in the Columbus area.  However there are several spread out across the state, so there is bound to be one not to far from you.

Welcome and thanks for your service!

So it's no big deal getting class 3 stuff compared to other states?

Does it make any difference that I will be in the Army and living in/near a military base?

Might want to hold off on your thanks as I'm not in the Army yet.

Get in touch w/ Mark Kuczka [email protected] he can hook you up w/ all the info/nfa items you need.
He's a great guy to deal with. Also come to the Sept. 22nd AAC suppressor shoot, to fondle/shoot various cans, FA...etc

they're crack dealers....  the bastards. the problem here isn't finding a class three dealer (mark and allen from Polite Society is my reco too), it's staying away from them.
