Finally got the old StG-58 to the range for a test after Stimpy helped me out with the barrel timing. We had to remove the barrel and put it on the lathe to get it shaved down, which took over an hour a couple of Sundays ago. It probably could have user another turn to make it TDC, but it's close enough, it only needs about 2 clicks right to get center. If 7.62x51 was cheap enough to shoot still, I'd be shooting this one a lot. I have ordered some Walnut furniture from DSA, so it will look very nice next week and I'll post a picture then. Anyway, thanks again! Here's the test target. Iron sights at 50m going from A to D.  So I suck....give me some slack!
