Hello ye fellow Cobb citizens! I was sitting in my reading room today perusing Cobb county's newest acquisition to their much maligned library system. Several months ago I petitioned them to purchase John Taffin's Book of the .44 and it has finally arrived. Now I could have bought the book myself but it is in large part a series of descriptions of guns that I never intend to buy. However what a wonderful addition to the library, as future generations will be able to get good information about guns for free. I requested that they purchase many other gun books as general reference but each request has been denied. "These topics do not have general appeal in the community" I am told. Let's show them what book WE want in our library! Here is the link to the request form. Log in using your library card number and PIN. Click on Request new materials.
