My 1st AR was used and good and broke in....so I'm wondering if prob I'm having with one now is just a break in thing. I have New Stag Lower Used Colt 20in Upper And I put a Brand new Delton Bolt/Bolt Carrier in it at Christmas This set up ran fine until the new bold/bolt carrier went in....prob it does is it will fire a round..chamber a new one, but not fully reset the trigger...U pull the trigger and its all the way back as if the hammer was down....I took it home cleaned it few months ago and took it back out today...not as bad as before, but like 1 round out of 30....when it did it today I dropped the clip out...pulled the bolt just back far enough to extract the live round and popped out the rear pin to see. The Hammer was all the way back and hooked to the sear, but the trigger was not engaged???? I started to slip the safety to the ON postion and something "clicked" and the trigger engaged....???? Any Ideas?? Clean the heck out a the trigger group? Does something need some polishing? Or do I just need to keep shooting the hell out a it :) Any ideas be helpful Thx Michael |
