Guys, I am currently looking for any and all gun ranges in GA, that have capability to shoot 100 yds or more, with most specific interest in longer ranges of 200-300 and up. However, as I said, I'm still interested in 100yd ranges from time to time. What I would really like to do, is compile a huge list of ALL the ranges that we know about, and put them into one big list. The master gun range list would then be ready to be forwarded to anyone interested in Ga Gun Ranges. Anyhow, I have tried clicking on the "Sticky" or "Pinned" thread at the top of this GA Forum, to see what we have listed, and every time I click on the link, it just brings me back to the forum page #1. Can anyone tell me what is going on here? Also, if anyone knows of any other threads, where GA Gun Ranges are listed, or mentioned, or if anyone knows of any other website with this valuable info, I'd be super greatful. I would just like to compile a huge list, that would ideally have all the specifics, INCLUDING the most important info pertaining to how each club is run (or NOT run in many cases). IN other words, if a certain club is not AR15-friendly, that info will be listed too, so as to save guys like myself, from driving 100 miles across the state, only to find out the club members hate anyone who shoots an AR15, OR to find out that you must imagine that you are shooting a bolt action rifle, etc, etc, etc. Anyhow, I am just wondering if ANYONE can help me out here, with any info that would help me? I would love to make a list for the forum, or for anyone who is interested in this valuable info.. Thanks for any help guys... |

Well bro, as stated in my post above, I ALREADY tried that, and each time you click on the link for Ga Gun Ranges, it does NOT WORK. It simply brings me back to the GA Forum Home page (page 1 of this forum)... It's of no use, unless someone can tell me what's wrong with the link??? |
Ooops. Bad link. missed where you said you'd tried. Go to the GA forum on Glocktalk. The pinned list there is an older copy of the list referred to above. Mr. Moderator can probably help us resuscitate the thread here. It may be in limbo between 90 days old and the archives. As for ranges >= 100 yards, there's almost all of the DNR ranges (Johns Mtn, Charlie Eliot), River Bend, Pickens, South River. There's a new one up near Cartersville too. |

I think a new thread will need to be started. Bookhound said some time back that site management told the mods to so something about the number of stickys up top, so when they were "unstickied" they fell off to archives. For beyond 100 yards, Gunsite Hills is in Lexington. By appointment only. $20 to shoot. Range is out to 650 with plans for expansion. |
