I saw an M1 Carbine at Bullseye in Lawrenceville and now I want one. I have tried to convince myself otherwise but I keep thinking about it

However, I need educatin'. I don't know what I don't know...

What do I need to know?

What do I need to look for?

What is a good price?

Where do I need to look for one?

The CMP is going to start stocking them. Get a real one there.

I agree, wait until about March when CMP will be stocking genuine USGI M1 Carbines for probably a lot less than gun stores sell them.

Inthe mean time, stock up on ammo. It's not cheap considering the caliber/size. I never had 30 rounds mgas that worked well. Stick with the 15's.
