Ok, so I go into Bass Pro to pick up some .243 win cleaning stuff and a box of two of ammo. First I went to the cleaning aisle, the only .243 bore brush they had was one of those tornado brushes, they suck. Lots of .22, a few .270, a shit-ton of .32; no .243. Ok, so I flag down and ask the only employee I see if there is any way that there are some in the back he says "nope" in mid stride and walks off without saying another word or even slowing down. I am a liitle put out at this point. So I walk over to the ammo aisle to find what I am after and they don't have what I want, everything else, but not what I want. So I settle on something else and go to check out. There are two registers open and long lines at each one...three other employees standing around talking to each other while me and everyone else is standing there waiting. I know that at least one of these employees knows how to operate a register because she has checked me out before. I got pissed an walked out. Bass Pro Shops: the Walmart of the sporting goods world. I am done now, sorry for the rant.

I think we the customers should be able to check out in a timely manner, say, wait in line 8-10 minutes max. I have started leaving my buggy somewhere up near customer service and telling the people I wont wait any longer to check out. They can restock my stuff, Screw them, if more people would do this they would provide enough cashiers to check out the customers at a reasonable pace. We are already a bunch of worms as far as government is concerned, now big business is acting the same way. We are fools to just stand there smiling at each other like a bunch of stoog"s. Have a nice day............... |
