has anybody actually used a rangefinder of something on the rifle range to determine how long it is?  its supposed to be 100yds right?  just wondering, for when i go buffalo hunting in Zimbabwe next month, i want my 10/22 to be sighted in for the long 800 yd shots i will be taking.
thanks

Sunday, 3/26 there's a 600 yd sight in up at RiverBend Gun Club.

It begins at 1 pm, and I believe it's free.

The 600yd sight in at RBGC is like $5 I think, to cover targets and such.

Pretty close to free.

Man, 600 yds is crazy! sounds really fun.  PrisonBus thanks for the heads up.  I will have to shoot for the October date however since i have a hockey game this Sunday.  looks like a nice place to be a member after checking out their website.
Bookhound let me know the next time you get out to the range we met up at which was up 575 (forgot the name).   i had a blast.  in the meantime i will work on my comedy no one caught my "800yd buffalo hunt with a .22" line????  ha ha
