| went to Bullard Creek WMA range Friday morning, was there by myself clearing a jammed Garand when a guy drove up, parked, and walked downrange without consulting me. i have the private range to myself , but went there for a change up. Litter everywhere, holes shot in the tin roof of the shelter, target holders shot to pieces. wonder how long before the DNR considers closing this one. Anyway back to the private range monday afternoon right by myself. |
...my Garand never jams...
| my brother's Garand, he just went through a bad divorce (is there a good one) and "lost " a couple of guns. anyway he bought it from the CMP and never fired it, i took it to the range and it didn't want to pick up the first round out of each en bloc clip. once it fired it would cycle the rest of the rounds ok. he cleaned the cosmo out of it when he received it. the first round was tight and wouldn't jump up into the chamber. |
