I need a mount that will let me mount a Harris bipod under a standard 2 piece handguard. Need it ASAP - my bolt gun will not be ready for the upcomming match and I am gonna shoot it old shool.......but with a bipod..........and a scope......and a suppressor.

Also would like to get a decent brass catcher when I place my order.

Well, all you need to mount a harris bipod is a sling swivel stud. After looking around, I found this:
www.rb-treasures.com/at/inst/ar_sling_inst.htm

I honestly don't know how well this works. The hardware advertised is technically for a sling swivel and stud , but the stud is all a Harris bipod needs to mount. In my own experience, an AR standard bottom handguard piece isn't rigid enough to stabilize a bipod. You might try buying a cheap bolt-on rail and a rail-mountable bipod adapter to go with it. That at least would provide a little more rigidity for mounting accessories. Personal preference would be to install a true rail system, or at least a metal free-float tube with either a 1913 rail or a mounted stud, but of course, that will cost a bit more.

Harris sells a standard AR15 HG mount for their bipods. It is as stable as your HG.

I've found mine drifted a lot, since I bought the cheapest unfitted HG from RRA (not knowing crap about ARs). Once I firmed the HG up the used 20" 1/9 BM HB easily shot a .85" group @100 yds with 69gr BTHP GA Arms reloads out of a scoped AR on the bipod. I'm taking her to the 300 yd range this weekend, hopefully.

Good enough for me in the hilly, woody SE. If I was back in flatland I'd invest in a Remy 700 bolt gun. YMMV.
