For those of us who may be interested, I have found a store that has XM855PD in 1000rnd box for the grand total of 199.00.

He told me he has abou 20-30 boxes in stock.

The place is Forest Park Army/Navy.  Phone is 404-366-7479.

This is a FYI.

So does anyone here ever shot this??

Is it worth the .20cpr.

Thanks

Read up on the PD stuff.  I usually like to try things myself and forming my own opinion.  But in some cases there are too many people I respect with first-hand experience of a product for me to ignore their opinions.  In this case, I'm staying away from the PD ammo.  Especially at that price.  You can find MUCH better ammo for cheaper if you do a little looking.

I agree.

They also had about 50 twenty round Colt M-16/AR-15 mags with the alloy follwers.

I believe that he was asking 20.00 for one or some sort of two mags for 35.00 IIRC.

I have bought several Adventure Line and Colt 20-round mags in AWESOME condition for $10.00 - $15.00 each.  Again, ya gotta look - and I didn't look that hard.  Most of my mag deals were found at local Eastman shows.

Stay away from the PD stuff (of course, you don't have to listen to me).

I bought a bunch of the XM193PD (not XM855PD) from Sportman's Guide. When it showed up, I opened one box, dug a big handful out, eyed them, them starting sitting them down in a line on the table. I never finished standing them up in a row. They were so bad, it was hard to find 2 that were the same height (set back into the necks, bent, etc).

I knew there was no way I was going to run it through one of my rifles.

I dumped them back in the box, called Customer Service the next day, and asked for a refund.
