I just picked one up about 2 weeks ago for around $1150. I got frustrated with trying to build one so I just bought a new one. Now I have to unload my parts from the failed build.

Keep the parts and build it later or you can use them if something breaks.

Just recieved it today! A few observations...
-it's a blowback! maybe I am the last to know but I never knew.
-the mags (32rd) are dated "6/98"
-serial # is in the mid 6000's (seems like there would be more out there)
-finish is kind of rough compared to my Bushmasters in the area of the carry handle with one particular sharp point

Can't wait to shoot it!!!

Flaperon,

I just looked at my new 6450. It's marked the same. 6M serial number w/ 6/98 mags. It must have been a good year for "evil".

Cool! Interesting about the mags. They must have gone crazy in 98 (when did the law enforcement 9MM craze peak((MP-5's, 6450's)?) and still have them laying around...
